The Beaver County Symphonic Wind Ensemble (BCSWE) is the premier concert band of Beaver County. Founded in 1974 and based in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, the ensemble is composed of over 80 talented musicians from diverse backgrounds all united by a shared passion for music performance. The ensemble performs a variety of music ranging from popular marches and wind band classics to hit songs from movies, musicals, and current pop tunes. In addition to the Summer Pops in the Park concert series, the ensemble also performs a fall concert and a holiday concert in December.
We strive to provide quality, live music concerts for local communities that enlighten, uplift, and educate audiences through the rich heritage and ongoing vital role of the American Community Band. Our mission is to offer musicians of varying age and skill levels a means of developing and expressing their musical skills and to foster and inspire a love for music in our ensemble members.
The Ensemble has performed at several venues throughout Beaver and Lawrence Counties including Quay Park and Irvine Park (Beaver), Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center Alumni Hall (Midland), Penn State Beaver and Community College of Beaver County (Center Twp.), 37th Street Park (Beaver Falls), Townsend Park (New Brighton), P.J. Caul Park (Ambridge), Ellwood City Community Plaza (Ellwood City), and many more!
We are proud to serve as a cultural asset to Beaver County and beyond, providing both seasoned musicians and emerging talents the opportunity to perform in a professional yet welcoming setting. Whether you’re a lifelong supporter of the arts or new to wind ensemble music, we invite you to experience the power and beauty of live music with us.
Join us at an upcoming performance and be a part of the music! 🎵
